Push Notifications are notifications on your account updates and/or product offers sent via the Citi Mobile^® App. There are two types of Push Notifications – Service and Transaction Alerts and/or Promotion and Marketing Offers Alerts. You can amend your notification preferences in our Citi Mobile^® App.

Please refer to the steps under the “Enabling Push Notifications is Easy” section.

Service and Transaction Alerts

If you have enabled Push Notifications, we will send you service and transaction-related alerts (set out in Q2 above) via Push Notifications instead of SMS. For some of the more critical alerts, we may send both Push Notifications as well as SMS.

Marketing Alerts

If you have enabled Push Notifications and not opted out of Marketing Alerts, we will send you our latest promotional and marketing offers via Push Notifications.

If you have opted out of Marketing Alerts, please note that you will continue to receive marketing communications from us via SMS/email if you have not unsubscribed from receiving our marketing communication via SMS/email.

Service and Transaction Alerts

If you disable your Push Notifications, with the exception of the alerts listed below*, we will send you SMS notifications for the service and transaction-related alerts (set out in Q2 above). For SMS Notification settings, please log in to Citibank Online to view and edit your preferences.

*Please note that the following alerts are sent via Push Notifications and you will not receive these by SMS even if you disable Push Notifications:

Banking Service/Transactions

• Account Credit via Giro/ Interbank Transfer

Card Services/Transactions

• Credit Card/ Ready Credit Payment Due
• Credit Card/ Ready Credit Payment Received

Your email preferences for the above listed transaction alerts will remain unchanged. Should you wish to amend your email preferences, you can log in to Citibank Online > Services > My Profile > Citi Alerts > Manage Alerts to view and edit your preferences.

Marketing Alerts

If you disable your Push Notifications or opt out of receiving Marketing Alerts, we will send you marketing communication via SMS only if you have not unsubscribed from receiving our marketing communication via SMS.

No. You will receive all the above listed service and transaction-related alerts (set out in Q2 above) via Push Notification if you have enrolled for Push Notification.

Yes. If you change device, you will still be able to view your Past Notifications for both Service and Transaction Alerts and Marketing Alerts in your Notification Centre for up to 6 months from the time you received it.

There may be a few reasons:

1. 1. Your mobile phone is not connected to WiFi or mobile data network
2. 2. Your Citi Mobile^® App is deleted
3. 3. Your Citi Mobile^® App is not updated to the latest version
4. 4. Your Citi Mobile^® App Push Notifications are disabled
5. 5. Your device notification setting is disabled
6. 6. You have downloaded Citi Mobile^® App and enabled Push Notifications on the other mobile phone

‘Notification Centre’, which is an in-app repository in Citi Mobile^® App, stores all your Push Notifications that were received on your mobile phone. You may retrieve your notifications after logging in to your Citi Mobile^® App. Click on the inbox icon at the top right of the Citi Mobile^® App to view your notification messages. Do note that Push Notifications will be retained in your Notification Centre for 6 months after you have received it.

No, Push Notifications in Citi Mobile^® App can only be received via one device at a time. If you change device, you may view Push Notifications for the past 6 months in your Notification Centre.
